Grades describe the cosmetic quality of the blade — straighter grains mean better performance and a higher price.
Players Grade
Unbleached, 10–12 straight grains. Used by internationals.
Premium
8–12 straight grains, clean blade. First-XI club level.

6–9 grains, minor blemishes allowed.
